Kara had a fondness for candles ever since she was a little girl.
She would linger in the local shops, inhaling the various fragrances and saving her allowance to purchase the ones she fancied the most. Lighting a candle was a truly delightful ritual for her and brought to mind happy birthdays and joy filled holidays.
She always felt the deep, tender link between scent and memory. She loved that she could light a candle and be instantly carried away to another place and time.
Of all the scents, however, there were two that she cherished above the rest..……………………………..
